By booking a tour through davidtourscr.com, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your reservation.

1. About David Tours

David Tours is a tour operator based in Bijagua, Costa Rica, offering nature experiences and excursions in the Río Celeste and Tenorio Volcano area. Some tours are operated directly by David Tours; others are offered in partnership with third-party operators.

2. Booking and Payment

All bookings are made through our website at davidtourscr.com. A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed through our payment gateway, Onvo Pay.

• Full payment is required at the time of booking.
• All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) and include 13% VAT (IVA) as required by Costa Rican law.
• David Tours does not store credit or debit card information. All payment data is handled securely by Onvo Pay.
• You will receive a confirmation email with your booking details after payment is completed.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies vary by tour. Please review the specific cancellation policy displayed on each tour's page before booking.

• Cancellation terms are shown clearly during the booking process.
• To request a cancellation, contact us at david@davidtourscr.com or via WhatsApp at +506 8482 8415.
• Refunds, when applicable, will be processed through the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

David Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour due to extreme weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra cost.

4. Rescheduling

Rescheduling policies vary by tour and are detailed on each tour's page. To reschedule, contact us as early as possible via email or WhatsApp.

5. Third-Party Tours

Some tours available on davidtourscr.com are operated by third-party partners. In these cases:

• David Tours acts solely as a booking agent and is not the tour operator.
• The third-party operator is fully responsible for the tour experience, safety, insurance, and liability.
• Each third-party tour has its own cancellation, refund, and rescheduling policy, which is displayed on the tour page.
• David Tours is not liable for any incidents, injuries, or dissatisfaction arising from third-party tours.
• Third-party operators hold their own insurance coverage as required.

6. Health, Safety, and Responsibility

Participation in outdoor tours involves inherent risks. By booking a tour, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

• You are responsible for ensuring that all members of your group are in adequate physical condition to participate.
• David Tours and its guides will take all reasonable precautions to ensure your safety.
• David Tours reserves the right to refuse participation to any guest whose condition may pose a risk to themselves or others.
• Guests are responsible for following all guide instructions during the tour.

7. Minors

Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The adult accompanying the minor is responsible for their participation and safety. Age restrictions may apply to certain tours and are listed on each tour page.

8. Behavior and Code of Conduct

All guests are expected to behave respectfully toward guides, other guests, local communities, and wildlife. David Tours reserves the right to remove any guest from a tour without refund if their behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful.

9. Environmental Responsibility

David Tours is committed to sustainable tourism. Guests are expected to follow Leave No Trace principles, respect wildlife, and not disturb natural habitats. Any damage caused intentionally by a guest to the environment or property may result in additional charges.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on davidtourscr.com, including text, images, and branding, is the property of David Tours. Reproduction or commercial use without written permission is prohibited.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Costa Rican law, David Tours shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or participation in our tours, beyond the amount paid for the specific booking in question.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Costa Rica.

13. Changes to These Terms

David Tours reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to davidtourscr.com. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
